PITTSFIELD- Fredrick G. Harford, 88, formerly of 28 Lakewood Circle died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center.  Born August 15, 1919 in Medford, MA the son of Frederick C. and Violet M. Livesley Harford, he was a 1938 graduate of Williamstown High School in Williamstown, VT.  Mr. Harford served in the US Army during WWII.  He was employed by General Electric for 38 years as a test man and group leader in the high voltage laboratory retiring in 1982, while at GE he was also the shop steward.  He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.  Mr. Harford was a member of the United Seniors Association, GE Pensioners, ¼ century club, the DAV Chap. 493819.  He was also a member of the Mystic Lodge of Masons and the Scottish Rite Bodies.  He is predeceased by his wife the former Anna T. Flynn whom he married April 21, 1945.  He is survived by a daughter Constance Carnavale of Springfield, MA, his sons Brian Harford of Pittsfield, Frederick Harford of Louisiana, James Harford of Pittsfield, David Harford of Torrington, CT, a sister Beatrice Hersey of Pittsfield, twenty eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE- Funeral services for Mr. Frederick G. Harford will be held Friday at 11am at the WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. Suzanne Brunnquell pastor of Morningside Baptist Church officiating.  Following cremation inurnment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery.  Calling hours will be today (Thursday) from 4-6pm at the funeral home.  Donations in his memory may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children, care of the funeral home, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.


Gordon H. Reynolds died May 14th in Naples, Florida from cancer. He
was 81 years old and a resident of The Glades Golf and Country Club.
Reynolds was born and lived most of his life in Pittsfield,
Massachusetts. After graduating Pittsfield High School he served in
the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Rider College in Trenton New
Jersey.  At college he met and married Ann Umberger of Charleston West
Virginia. The newlyweds settled in New Hampshire. Reynolds joined his
father's insurance agency, Reynolds, Barnes and Hebb in Pittsfield and
became president.  Reynolds was active in civic organizations and Republican politics. He
helped organize Western Massachusetts campaigns for Senator Ed Brook
and Lt. Governor Elliot Richardson. He was an avid fly fisherman.
He retired to Naples Florida and following the death of his wife Ann
he married Gerda Duvall. The two of them traveled the world, including
tours to the South Pole, Asia, Africa and Europe.
Gordon Reynolds is survived by his wife Gerda, four children - Ross
Reynolds (Harriet Baskas) of Seattle, Washington, Karl Reynolds of
Lynn, Massachusetts, Lee Homewood (Kevin) of Silver Spring, Maryland,
Paul Reynolds of Newburyport, Massachusetts, and two grandchildren,
Amy Homewood and Scott Homewood.  There will be a memorial service at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME 220 East
Street, 220 East Street in Pittsfield on June 14th at noon.

PITTSFIELD- Joan M. “Joannie” Kickery, 54, of Pittsfield, MA died Friday, June 13, 2008 at Berkshire Medical Center after a long battle with lung disease.  She was the daughter of the late John C. and Dorothy W. Leslie.  She was born November 7, 1953 in Dearborn, MI, and has been a life long resident of Pittsfield.  She was a 1971 graduate of Pittsfield High School and worked at what is now General Dynamics for the last 35 years, most recently as the MRP Coordinator in Production Control.  Joannie was the Division Stuart for the Local Union 254 as well as the “ambassador of information” for her fellow union members.  She leaves her two daughters, Heather Powell of Alabaster, AL and Ashley Kickery of Pittsfield and was pre-deceased by her infant son Shaun Kickery. She also leaves two sisters Susan Mohi of New York City and Deborah Perri of Wheat Ridge, CO; and her two beloved grandchildren Shawn and Mikayla Powell.  She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Dalton.
Joannie was a devoted mother, doting grandmother, and a kind and loving friend to many.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
FUNERAL NOTICE:  There will be calling hours at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St, Pittsfield on Sunday, June 15th from 2-5pm. Funeral services will be held at the First Congregational Church of Dalton on Monday, June 16th at 11am with the Rev. Robert Kyte pastor..  Burial will follow at Pittsfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Lung Society or the National Kidney Foundation in memory of Joannie, care of the funeral home 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
